There is nothing I’d rather be doing, than hiking along a rugged coastal or mountain path, seeking dramatic landscapes. Or exploring a city and documenting the local food and culture. 

I’ve been fortunate to have done this for my job over many years. But I also do it for me, for fun. I love walking and hiking with my camera. Exploring and discovering. And I also love food, culture and history.

All of these ingredients will come together in this corner of my website, where I will be sharing some of my “adventures", from a day exploring a new town or city – or even a new brewery – to a full blown 6-week backpacking trip on the Camino de Santiago.

Keeping Travel Real

I’m not trying to be an influencer. I don’t write articles or make videos that are sensationalised, in order to appease a brand. Likewise, there won’t be a plethora of selfies from dramatic viewpoints, showing you how great my life is. The reality is, I don’t travel as much as I would like to, as I have a creative business to run. If a brand is sponsoring a trip or supplying a piece of gear, I will make that crystal clear. 

So if you love photography, walking / hiking, a little bit of culture, history, and enjoy local food and drink, this is the place to be!
